Phew! So many games to play – so little time!
Alone in the Dark appears on the PS3 under the new subtitle 'Inferno'. All the crap that made the original on the Xbox 360 and Wii version so bad has supposedly been addressed making the game longer and more enjoyable to play. I'm quite interested in seeing whether or not there is a big enough difference as the first few screens looked pretty good. Of course
Mirror's Edge is jumping...get it? Jumping...onto both Xbox 360 and PS3 this week. I'm still in two minds about buying this game and shall wait for the UFO review very early next week. Activision are after our wallets again with
Call of Duty: World at War for most formats. Crash spoke highly of the multiplayer beta in
this week's podcast saying that he actually preferred it to
CoD4 which is a big statement to make so it must be good! The Wii gets fisted by the usual plop but thankfully there are some more original games this week for it too.
Banjo makes his next/now gen debut on the Xbox 360 and will hopefully give 360 owners a feel of how fun
LittleBigPlanet's construction elements are. I have to say though, I'm still dabbling in
LittleBigPlanet and I'm not sure if any of the games out this week will persuade me to leave that charming world. Although
Mirror's Edge does look good...
