This appears to be the final week of our influx of holiday games. It's not necessarily a bad thing as I had to miss out on some games because I simply didn't have the money to buy them all. One that still is on the list is the new
Prince of Persia. Graphically it looks great and like
Mirror's Edge, you can get a real sense of speed and acrobatics. Plus you get a helpful, and conveniently attractive, partner called Elika to aid you on your quest. Critics originally spoke of similarities to the great
ICO as it too had a female companion with a white, floaty glow about her. But unlike
ICO, Elika kicks ass with you and can prevent you from death. Other than that, there isn't really anything that tickles my gaming thumbs (according to the online source I use.)
Fire Emblem : Shadow Dragon maybe a bit of RPG fun but for the moment I think I'll stick with
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.
