I think our podcast is becoming quite influential. Last night we spoke about Gamestation bringing back the advent deals and I find out today that they did. We also joked about Sony's inability to secure exclusive DLC yet the Playstation.Blog are reporting that Mirror's Edge is to get a free exclusive time trial map ONLY for the PS3 (hence the exclusivity...) It will be released at the same time as the game's first bit of DLC in January and EA are saying that "players will be challenged to achieve the fastest times possible on nine races across seven all-new and totally redesigned time trial maps. No guns, no cops, and no city: this is true aesthetics, agility and flow that will challenge any runner." Have a look at the embedded video below to see what they're talking about. This is on top of the free time trial map and will cost $10 (£6-7). I'm glad Sony are beginning to take DLC seriously and hope it will continue. It's a shame when gamers lose out and preferably, all platforms will get equal treats but seeing as PS3 owners have been missing out recently I think it's a good move for them.
