New show launches on PS3

CVG publisher Future and Sony Computer Entertainment UK have revealed a new free downloadable, on-console show every Wednesday via PlayStation Home.

Called Access, the show is hosted by comedian Lucy Porter and promises to offer "unrivalled access to [...] the best games, the biggest industry events and SCE UK's Access community." Each episode is ten minutes long and showcases 'up-to-the-minute' previews, interviews and features, with selected content later made available to watch across Future's portfolio of games websites, including CVG and GamesRadar.

The first episode, available to download yesterday, features news regarding FIFA 12 and Resistance 3 as well as direct reports from SCE UK's Access tour.

SCE UK marketing director Alan Duncan stated "We're hugely proud of the market-leading video content we're producing and this is the perfect showcase for it," said Simon Maxwell, Future group publisher, entertainment." he also went on to proclaim the aim of the show will is a 'a key part of our Access project delivering high quality original content covering everything that's happening on PlayStation in the UK. It also gives our partners a new opportunity to reach key PlayStation gamers."
