LA Noire writer and director planning a new game?

Brendan_McNamara

In an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine UK, Brendan McNamara has reveleaded plans to unveil a new game in the next couple of weeks.

The former studio head of Team Bondi, reason being due to the closure of the company which if you've been living under a rock you can read here, told the magazine "We're actively working on two new things at the moment, but we won't be able to announce the first for another couple of weeks. But I think if you liked LA Noire, you'll like this one better". To me it sounds like wishful thinking as the first thing which sprung to my mind was how many people actually liked LA Noire once all the hype around the game died down?, but ofcourse I digress.

He went on to say "We made The Getaway which did four million, and LA Noire which made five million or so - we can get smarter and better about making games, and hopefully people will still want to play the games we make".

McNamara's ambition and hopes continued to flourish as he added "All you've got to hope when you write or make something is that it resonates with an audience, and luckily the last two times it has, which is good. Three out of three wouldn't be too bad". Again sounds like wishful thinking but if you are a fan of both The Getaway and LA Noire then it looks like bright days are ahead.
