Unadulterated Fun Offices: Saber's office.

I know, this is probably a bit too much to stomach, mostly because my phone's camera is quite shit. I own a Sony Ericsson W580i, in case you're wondering.

I went ahead and marked fifteen points of interest on my desk. Hopefuly, these points are interesting and not tedious.

1. Killer Instinct poster. - Oh wow, this is old school. Seriously old school. I remember going out with my dad to this little place called Zelda waaay back when I was five or six years old. Zelda is a gaming shop, fortunately a still functioning one, and they used to rent out various consoles like the Nintendo 64, SNES, PlayStation, etc. After we've rented out an N64 with Goldeneye for the god knows which time (we were hooked, me and my dad) the guy at the store gave me the Killer Instinct poster. Cool dude. The other side of the poster features Asterix & Obelix, if you still remember that SNES title.

2. A Spider-Man lamp. - Honestly, my dad put this up a long time ago and I was against it. I figured it would be only cool to me for a year or two before I get red every time one of my friends sees it. Turns out, after six years, I'm perfectly fine with it. It's a bit on the awesome side, that lamp.

3. MDK2 poster. - My god, who doesn't remember MDK2?! Again, me and my dad were totally hooked on that game. It was fun, wacky and really hard. What I didn't really notice until now is that MDK2 was developed by BioWare, which blew my mind quite hard once I figured it out. Here's hoping for an MDK3.

4. Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams poster. - This is one of my favourite posters. It just looks awesome, plain and simple. Not to mention that it represents a great franchise.

5. Pile of boxes and papers. - There's a lot of stuff on this little shelf thing on my desk. You can find various Steam receipts, a D&D Miniatures Starter Set box (I once tried playing it, never got into it), my mobile's box, a book on C, etc. Really, quite a lot of stuff.

6.The pile next to the pile of boxes and papers. - Not much to see here except for a little snowman plushie + bell hybrid I got for christmas. And a couple of rifle shells my dad brought home after he visited a shooting range.

7. GAMES!!!11!one - Yup, it's my small collection of games. Retail copies, of course. Some notable titles: Battlefield 2 (Special Forces expansion pack too), Battlefield 2142, Psychonauts, I-Ninja, I Was an Atomic Mutant, Scrapland, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy), Guild Wars, City of Heroes/Villains, Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars, Frontlines: Fuel of War.

8. Piles of CDs and DVDs. - Nothing really special to see here, just a plethora of CDs and DVDs. Don't know why I tagged this.

9. An African mask. - I received this supposedly ancient and mystic artifact from a beggar in Namibia, who's dying wish was for me to give it to his missing daughter. I soon found myself in web of mystery, intrigue and corruption as I found out that the beggar was a former Morrocan government operative who, after making a crucial mistake in his last mission, was punished by having his daughter taken away from him. I was interrogated by the police, chased by what looked like nomads and...

Oh, fuck it. I bought it in a souvenir shop in one of our many seaside villages.

10. Leaning piles of CDs and DVDs. - Same as above, the only difference being that these were tipped over. Also, I hold my paperclips here.

11. BOOKS!!!11!one - For relaxation and communication. I've got Phillip K. Dick's 'Blade Runner' here and Howard P. Lovecraft's 'Reanimator'. In case I talk to Exar, I can always rely on my German-Croatian dictionary. In case I talk to Julius Caesar, my Latin-Croatian dictinary will help me out. Also in the mix is my English dictionary, which I rarely use. Really.

12. A hook hooked to a statue of the three wise monkeys. - You haven't heard, seen nor said anything. Or I'll tear your ass up with this plastic hook.

13. Paperwork. - In the constantly changing, busy world of games journalism you have to do some ol' pen-and-paper writing from time to time. I don't, I usually draw or scribble faces on Post-It notes so I can pretend that I have friends to talk to. Isn't that right, Christopher Walken?

14. Headphones. - Panasonic RP-HT710. Can't say I recommend them, too light on the bass.

15. Headset. - Some cheap Saitek headset I bought for 7 pounds. It's what I use when we record podcasts or when I play some online games. I had worse, mind you.

So there you have it. Quite a lot of memorabilia on my desk. Can't wait to see what Hooty and LorD have in store for us.
